Special Media Activism on the case

Apart from the normal newspaper/magazine articles/features on the Manjunath issue, the following require special mention:

  • “We the People” talk show on Manjunath, arranged through the efforts of IIML alumni. The Oil Minister and IOC Marketing Director were to be on the panel (IOC Chairman was traveling), but in the last minute both excused themselves due to a cyclone in the minister’s constituency and an ‘emergency’ respectively. A televised statement of the minister was relayed.

  • Business World Case Study ‘A man called Manjunath’ and Opinion ‘Who killed Manjunath’ on the economics of adulteration and how it crushed a young & honest sales officer under it.
